Roundup: Marcella Brooks scores 6 goals in Centennial win

Centennial’s Marcella Brooks fired in six goals and an assist as the visiting Bulldogs shut out Bonanza’s girls soccer team 7-0 on Wednesday.

Quincy Bonds scored a goal and had an assist, and Viviana Cera added two assists for Centennial, which led 3-0 at halftime.

Kendra Garcia and Halle Roberts each supplied an assist, and goalkeepers Amaya Pidsosny and Keyla Alba split the shutout for the Bulldogs.

Las Vegas 3, Legacy 2 — At Legacy, Brinkley McCoy scored twice as the Wildcats topped the Longhorns.

Maria Hernandez scored for Las Vegas.

Gabriella Lancaster scored both goals for Legacy on assists from Isabella Skrinjaric.

Canyon Springs 3, Desert Pines 1 — At Canyon Springs, Mallory Arnold scored two goals to help lift the Pioneers over the Jaguars.

Yanci Tunchez added a goal, and teammate Denis Galarza had an assist for Canyon Springs.

Jacqueline Chamale scored off a free kick for Desert Pines.

Shadow Ridge 5, Rancho 1 — At Shadow Ridge, the Mustangs scored four goals in the second half to take down the Rams.

Taylore Simmons had two goals, Taylor Lee had a goal and an assist, and Alexis Ponce and Maliah Hernandez each scored once for Shadow Ridge.

Thania Mocfezuma scored Rancho’s goal.

Faith Lutheran 5, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Riley Divich supplied a goal and an assist as the Crusaders blanked the Spartans.

Madison Stenslie, Amelia McManus, Serene Gronauer, and Camille Longabardi each scored once for Faith Lutheran.

Madison Sonerholm had two assists for the Crusaders. Goalkeeper Jordan Brown earned the shutout with two saves.

Palo Verde 8, Cheyenne 0 — At Palo Verde, Kassidy Sayles and Ariana Virella each scored three goals in the first half as the Panthers blitzed the Desert Shields.

Taryn Philips had a goal and an assist, and teammate Katelyn Fann also scored once for Palo Verde.

Arbor View 9, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Preshus McCraney had three goals to lead the Aggies in a rout over the Sundevils.

Madison Carter and Brynn Covington each scored twice for the Aggies, and Carmen Endicott and Keily Larosee had a goal apiece.

Krystin Cooper and Jillian Hudson combined on the shutout.
