ROUNDUP: Muhammad scores four as Rancho routs Chaparral
Jahmela Muhammad scored four goals Thursday to lead Rancho’s girls soccer team to a 7-0 win over Chaparral.
Lucinda Luevanos, Lexa Green and Alyssa Williams also scored for the Rams.
Rachael Witshire was in goal for the shutout.
Canyon Springs 1, Valley 0 — At Canyon Springs, Jasmine Rico scored the lone goal of the game, and Amanda Renfroe got the shutout as the Pioneers edged the Vikings.
Las Vegas 9, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Isabel Ceron scored three goals, and Consuelo Cabrera added two goals to lead the Wildcats over the Jaguars.
Wendy Martinez, Michele Montoya, Danica PIckett and Aubriana Rodriguez also scored for Las Vegas.
Bonanza 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Brittany Tucker scored two goals to lead the Bengals past the Chargers.
Brookelyn Bennion also scored for Bonanza. Kylie Wassel made seven saves to earn the shutout.
Sierra Vista 5, Spring Valley 0 — At Sierra Vista, Jonnette Cabral scored twice, and the Mountain Lions built a 4-0 halftime lead en route to the win.
Darien Walker and Christen Parr each had a goal and an assist for Sierra Vista. Katrine Baker also scored.
Terryn Brown made three saves to earn the shutout.
Durango 10, Desert Oasis 0 — At Durango, Janie Bordinhao and Amanda Lopez each got a hat trick, and Erna Husic logged a shutout as the Trailblazers downed the Diamondbacks.
Jamie Dean scored two goals, and Cristal Velazquez and Alexa Catalfamo each had a goal for Durango.
