ROUNDUP: Nogues, Palo Verde girls knock off Mustangs
Mackenzie Nogues scored the game’s only goal early in the second half Tuesday to help Palo Verde’s girls soccer team knock off top-ranked Shadow Ridge, 1-0.
Jordan Goyeau registered the shutout for the Panthers, who handed the Mustangs their first loss of the season.
Green Valley 2, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, Kayla Anderson and Nicole Westover each tallied a second-half goal to help the Gators clinch their fourth straight league title with a win over the Skyhawks.
Nicole Dunn made three saves to earn the shutout for Green Valley.
Eldorado 2, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Kimberly Olivares scored twice as the Sundevils nipped the Dragons.
Alicia Villa scored for Del Sol.
Coronado 2, Foothill 0 — At Coronado, Michaela Morris and Breanna McCallum each tallied a goal to lift the Cougars past the Falcons.
Cristina Burgess and Melanie Frank shared the shutout for Coronado.
Canyon Springs 2. Valley 1 — At Canyon Springs, Diamond Larson and Monica Camargo each tallied a first-half goal and the Pioneers held off the Vikings.

Liberty 2, Basic 0 — At Basic, April Ficarotta and Mary Johnson each had a goal and an assist in the second half as the Patriots beat the Wolves.
Rebecca Rodriguez had two saves in the shutout for Liberty.
Rancho 0, Las Vegas 0 — At Las Vegas, the Rams and the Wildcats played to a scoreless tie.
MacKenzie Pearson earned the shutout for Rancho, while Alicia Garcia and Elizabeth Camacho teamed to get the shutout for Las Vegas.
Sierra Vista 3, Durango 0 — At Sierra Vista, Kaitlin Eure, Sabrina Mallett and Sophia Omidiji each scored a goal to help the Mountain Lions cruise past the Trailblazers.
Jasmine Morice added two assists for Sierra Vista, which got a two-save shutout from Cypress Whipple.
Arbor View 9, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Breanna Larkin scored three goals, and Amberly Halstead scored twice as the Aggies blitzed the Grizzlies.
Taylor Gill had two goals, and Alexis Pryor and Asianna Harris supplied a goal each for Arbor View, which also got five assists from Bailee Davis.
