SOCCER: Feller, Nogues lead Panthers to win in Las Vegas Kick-Off
Peyton Feller and Jadyn Nogues scored less than two minutes apart in the first half Monday to lift Palo Verde’s girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over host Faith Lutheran in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.
Kaia Mendenhall made seven saves to earn the shutout for the Panthers, who will face Coronado for the tournament championship at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran.
Green Valley 1, Centennial 0 — At Green Valley, Alexis Kirson’s first-half goal stood up as the Gators topped the Bulldogs in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.
Kiana Lopez (four saves) and Cassandra Palor (five saves) combined on the shutout for Green Valley.
Pahrump Valley 2, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Sydney Sladek scored a goal in each half to lead the Trojans over the Mustangs.
Kiaya Nauck made four saves en route to the shutout.
Canyon Springs 5, Legacy 1 — At Canyon Springs, Leticia Godoy had three goals and an assist to lead the Pioneers by the Longhorns.
Paloma McNair had a goal and two assists, and Ashley Borunda added a goal and an assist for Canyon Springs.

Del Sol 3, Mojave 1 — At Del Sol, Estefany Vargas scored twice as the Dragons topped the Rattlers.
Paola Sanchez added a goal for Del Sol.
Mayra Gomez scored for Mojave.

Green Valley 4, Legacy 3 — At Green Valley, Mark Ocampo’s goal off a 25-yard free kick with 8:30 remaining in the match lifted the Gators past the Longhorns.
Green Valley trailed 3-1 with 12 minutes left, but rallied behind goals from Breno Rocha and Richardo Nunez before Ocampo netted the winner. Daniel Mojica scored a first-half goal for the Gators.
Skyler Ibarra, Rodolfo Robles and Pedro Mariscal scored for Legacy.
