Amanda Sanchez hit two free throws midway through overtime Monday to break a 38-38 tie and lift host Basic’s girls basketball team to a 42-38 win over Mt. Eden (Calif.) in the Lady Wolves Holiday Tournament.

Charles O’Bannon had a team-high 20 points, and host Bishop Gorman held Timpview (Utah) scoreless for more than eight minutes in the first half en route to a 73-62 victory in the Platinum Division of the Tarkanian Classic.
