Outlook: The Gaels return only three starters from last year’s team that was among the last four still alive in the Sunset Region tournament.
“We have a young group of starters after losing five starting seniors and two other starters for different reasons from last year’s team,” Smith said. “A lot of girls will be playing positions that they are not used to, so we will just have to see how it goes.”
