2016 record: 28-3 (13-1 Division I-A Sunset, first)

Returning letter winners (starters): Four (three)

Top players: 3B/C Marlena Adras (Sr.), P/2B Madison Hood (Jr.), OF Teegan Teal (So.)

Outlook: The Grizzlies have some positions to fill with only four letter winners returning from the team that won last year’s Division I-A state title.

Teal (.500, 10 RBIs), Adras (.317, 23 RBIs) and Hood (.313, 9 RBIs) are expected to be among the leaders on a team that is hoping to continue its success as it moves back into Class 4A.

“We are excited to have another productive year,” Saenz said.
