Outlook: Summer Owens hit .354 last season, and Bailey Owens hit .345. They’ll be among the leaders on an offense that returns six starters.

"With a solid core of returning players and several strong juniors, the Pirates are looking to qualify for the postseason," Messer said. "With a new coaching staff, they are trying to find the best combinations and chemistry for a very successful season."
