ROUNDUP: Aguirre drives in two to cap Gorman comeback against Grizzlies

Alexis Aguirre’s two-run single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning Friday lifted Bishop Gorman’s softball team to a 15-14 win over visiting Spring Valley.
Spring Valley had scored four runs in the top of the inning to take a 14-11 lead.
But four walks and a pair of RBI groundouts helped Gorman pull within two before Aguirre smacked an 0-2 pitch to left field to end the game.
Aguirre, who also went the distance and allowed 19 hits to get the win, was 3-for-5 with three RBIs.
Gracie Martinez went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs for Gorman, and O’Sheyon Rollins was 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs for the Gaels.
Spring Valley’s Georgi Delio went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and six RBIs. Katie Campo was 3-for-5 with a triple, two runs and an RBI for the Grizzlies.
Legacy 10, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Sierra Pico tossed a five-inning two-hitter and struck out seven as the Longhorns blanked the Aggies.
Jessie Wilhelm went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double and an RBI, and Darcey Cochran was 2-for-4 with a triple, two runs and an RBI for Legacy.
Centennial 12, Shadow Ridge 9 — At Centennial, Bailie Nelson went 3-for-3, and Mia Acuna was 3-for-4 with an RBI as the Bulldogs overcame seven errors to defeat the Mustangs.
Mikayla Djordjevic was 1-for-2 with a double and three RBIs, and Kylie Bartlett was 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs for Centennial.
Sabriya Brooks was 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs for Shadow Ridge. Jasmine Bouie went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Krislyn Campos added two hits for the Mustangs.
Cheyenne 9, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Bailey Benson went 2-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored as Cheyenne cruised past the Crusaders.
Melanie Manley went 2-for-3 with a double, a run and an RBI for the Desert Shields.
Brittany Hampton scored the lone run for Faith Lutheran, hitting 3-for-4 with a double.
Durango 13, Pahrump Valley 3 — At Durango, Samantha Juarez was 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBIs, and Katie Moore went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs as the Trailblazers defeated the Trojans in five innings.
Cristina Rohner went 3-for-3 with two RBIs for Durango.
Taylor Raymer ripped a two-run homer in the top of the first inning for Pahrump.
Bonanza 18, Western 0 — At Western, Courtney Spencer tossed a five-inning one-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks to help the Bengals rout the Warriors.
Karly Francom went 4-for-4 with four runs, and Taylor Gordy had a pair of doubles for Bonanza.
Desert Oasis 13, Sierra Vista 1 — At Desert Oasis, Lenzi Cram threw a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and one walk to help the Diamondbacks to the five-inning win over the Mountain Lions.
Dayana Gage went 2-for-3 with two runs scored to lead the offense for Desert Oasis, which only managed four hits.
Morgan Hughes was 1-for-1 with two runs, an RBI and a stolen base for the Diamondbacks, who were helped by four hit batters, three walks and seven errors.
 
Silverado 12, Tech 1 — At Tech, Amanda Delgado was 2-for-2 with two RBIs to help the Skyhawks beat the Roadrunners.
Riana Splinter was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, Emily Galante went 2-for-4 with a triple, three runs and an RBI, and Ashley Phillips added two hits for Silverado.
Jordyn Roark and Amanda Roark each had two hits for Tech.
Boulder City 6, Liberty 1 — At Boulder City, Karlee Koopman tossed a four-hitter, striking out nine and walking two, to help the Eagles top the Patriots.
Taylor McKeever’s two-run triple in the first inning gave Boulder City the lead for good.
Ariel O’Neill and Koopman hit back-to-back home runs to start a four-run fourth inning for the Eagles. Koopman finished 2-for-3.
White Pine 11-15, Mountain View 1-5 — At Mountain View, White Pine homered three times in the opener and took advantage of 20 errors by the Saints to sweep a doubleheader.
Amber Gomez hit a double in the nightcap for the Saints.
 
Indian Springs 14-19, Laughlin 3-12 — At Laughlin, Brandi Bryl went 6-for-6 with a home run, triple and six RBIs in the nightcap to highlight a sweep for the Thunderbirds.
