ROUNDUP: Bonanza’s Snyder blanks Arbor View on two hits

Sam Snyder tossed a two-hitter Wednesday as Bonanza’s softball team nipped visiting Arbor View, 1-0.
Snyder struck out 10 and walked two.
Bonanza’s run came in the fifth when Nicolette Lind singled home Alex Teed with one out.
Lind and Teed each had two hits for the Bengals.
Green Valley 4, Palo Verde 2 — At Green Valley, Annamarie Smith doubled twice and Lace Jordan homered to help the Gators beat the Panthers.
Katie Stewart went the distance, scattering four hits and striking out three, to pick up the win. Catherine Conti had two singles, and Jacqui Cappucculli added a double for the Gators.
Alex Alakai had a double for Palo Verde.
Cimarron-Memorial 4, Clark 0 — At Cimarron, Carrie Sheehan pitched out of a one-out, bases-loaded jam in the first inning and went on to blank the Chargers.
Sheehan went the distance, striking out four. She also doubled.
J.J. Fukuda had a triple for Clark.
Legacy 14, Rancho 1 — At Legacy, Sierra Pico pitched three scoreless innings with five strikeouts to help the Longhorns beat the Rams.
Pico was 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored.
Legacy’s Kayla Murray was 2-for-2 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Rancho’s Jessica Ramirez had a triple.
Liberty 10, Pahrump Valley 7 — At Pahrump, Breanna English went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBIs as the Patriots withstood a late rally by the Trojans.
Liberty’s Robin Lowery and Diana Cassaro each supplied two hits.
Pahrump’s Rebecca Gamble had a three-run double in the seventh.
Shadow Ridge 3, Las Vegas 2 — At Las Vegas, Amanda Aker scored the winning run on a throwing error in the top of the ninth and the Mustangs held on to edge the Wildcats.
Rae-Ann Bohm doubled and homered for Shadow Ridge, and Mandy Harmon tossed a three-hitter.
Coronado 4, Sierra Vista 2 — At Sierra Vista, the Cougars took advantage of three errors to score four runs in the fifth inning and defeat the Mountain Lions.
Coronado’s Devyn Choltko went 1-for-3 with a triple and an RBI. Winning pitcher Allie Amato struck out 11.
Talyer Aleman was 3-for-4 with an RBI for Sierra Vista, and Ashley Krumme went 2-for-3 with a run.
Foothill 8, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Alex Petrolia tossed a four-hitter to lead the Falcons past the Diamondbacks.
Foothill’s Shelbie Medrano went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI. Rhiana Baluan was 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Kylee Taylor had a two-run triple.
Morgan Hughes went 1-for-3 with a triple for Desert Oasis.
Centennial 10, Spring Valley 6 — At Centennial, Paige Reese was 2-for-4 with two RBIs to lead the Bulldogs past the Grizzlies.
 
Mikayla Djordjevic was 3-for-3 with two runs scored for Centennial.
Katie Campo was 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI for Spring Valley.
Indian Springs 10, The Meadows 4 — At The Meadows, winning pitcher Brandi Bryl went 4-for-4 with a triple to help the Thunderbirds down the Mustangs.
Kristen Keach had a single and an RBI for The Meadows, which turned a triple play in the game when first baseman Randi Pedroza snagged a line drive, stepped on first base for the second out and fired to second for the third out.
