Roundup: Brianna Villarreal’s big day lifts Grizzlies by Las Vegas

Brianna Villarreal was 4-for-4 with a triple, two doubles, four runs and two RBIs on Monday to help Spring Valley’s softball team to a 14-11 win at Las Vegas High.

Teegan Teal went 5-for-6 with five runs, and Chryshelle Abril-Ryan was 2-for-4 with three runs for the Grizzlies.

Kaitlyn Horstdaniel was 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBIs, and Nataly Rodriguez was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Wildcats.

Desert Pines 24, Clark 19 — At Clark, Jocelyn Bailon went 4-for-5 with four doubles, three runs and three RBIs to help the Jaguars outslug the Chargers.

Pamela Cruz was 4-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and Evelin Beltran went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Desert Pines. Karla Rodriguez was 3-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs for the Jaguars.

Alyssa Clara was 5-for-5 with three runs and four RBIs, and Noemi Barriga went 4-for-5 with three RBIs for Clark. Sara Najmulski was 3-for-4 with a double and four runs for the Chargers.

Sierra Vista 21, Cimarron-Memorial 6 — At Cimarron, Jessica Schneider went 4-for-5 with two home runs, a double, four runs and five RBIs to power the Mountain Lions by the Spartans in five innings.

Aaliyah Medina was 4-for-5 with a grand slam and five RBIs, and Daelynn Hilton went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs for Sierra Vista. Jamie Kalaau-Sunia was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for the Mountain Lions, who also got home runs from Tyerra Kaaialii and Ryan Watkins.

Tiarra Del Rosario went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs for Cimarron.
