ROUNDUP: Daguiar helps Mustangs outslug host Aggies

Danette Daguiar went 3-for-5 with a triple and a double, and Shadow Ridge’s softball team scored 10 runs in the first three innings Tuesday on its way to a 15-9 win at Arbor View.

Justin Garganese added a home run for the Mustangs.

Ashlyn Ames went 2-for-2 with a double and five RBIs for the Aggies.

Desert Oasis 14, Bonanza 10 — At Bonanza, Christian Wilson went 2-for-3 with two doubles, and the Diamondbacks took advantage of nine errors by Bonanza to come from behind twice and down the Bengals.

Taylor Beacham was 2-for-4 with a double for Desert Oasis, which trailed 4-0 after three innings but rallied to take a 9-5 lead in the fifth.

Bonanza retook the lead with five runs in the bottom of the fifth, but Desert Oasis rallied again with five runs in the top of the sixth.

Raquell Hoyes and Tori Lind each went 3-for-5 with a double for Bonanza.

Legacy 4, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Legacy, Gabby Rinker went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and three RBIs to help the Longhorns edge the Spartans.

Sierra Pico pitched a two-hitter with no earned runs, seven strikeouts and three walks for Legacy.

Clark 3, Durango 0 — At Clark, Alia Armstrong threw a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk, and scored a run to lead the Chargers past the Trailblazers.

Armstrong scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the first inning for Clark, which got two more runs in the fifth inning on two walks, a passed ball and a sacrifice fly by Julia Hagen, who finished 2-for-3.

Centennial 16, Mojave 0 — At Centennial, Alyssa Finger went 3-for-3 with a triple, and Kate Rauskin tossed a five-inning one-hitter as the Bulldogs blanked the Rattlers.

Rauskin struck out nine and didn’t allow a walk.

Bailie Nelson, Lexie Morales, Mia Acuna and Savannah Horvath each went 2-for-2, with Nelson and Morales each doubling for Centennial. Alivia Hall was 2-for-3 for the Bulldogs.

Palo Verde 19, Cheyenne 0 — At Palo Verde, Melissa Lacro and Kelsea Sweeney combined on a five-inning one-hitter as the Panthers routed the Desert Shields.

Breanna Beatty was 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and four RBIs, and Lacro and Lauren Oxford each went 2-for-3 with two doubles for Palo Verde.

Selina Merritt and Rachael Turner each went 2-for-3 for the Panthers.

Sweeney struck out all six batters she faced.

Bishop Gorman 16, Sierra Vista 2 — At Sierra Vista, Shelby Estocado was 3-for-4 with a triple and two runs to help the Gaels to the six-inning win.

Gorman scored nine runs in the top of the sixth.

Mackenzie Reynolds was 2-for-2 with a walk for Sierra Vista.

Sunrise Mountain 8, Moapa Valley 6 — At Overton, winning pitcher Sydni Beuchat scored three runs and hit a single as the Miners edged the Pirates.

Chanel LaCroix went 3-for-3 for Moapa Valley.

Boulder City 17, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Taylor McKeever went 4-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs as the Eagles blitzed the Grizzlies in five innings.

Alex Frye was 3-for-3 with three RBIs for Boulder City.

The Eagles’ Karlee Koopman tossed a four-hitter and struck out seven.

Mountain View 16, Lake Mead 12 — At Tuscany Park, the Saints scored five times in each of the first two innings and outlasted the Eagles.

Taylor Vetter was 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs and two RBIs, and Taylor Webb was 3-for-3 with a triple and two runs for Lake Mead.

Indian Springs 12, Pahranagat Valley 2 — At Indian Springs, Brandi Bryl pitched a five-inning five-hitter with five strikeouts and drove in three runs as the Thunderbirds cruised past the Panthers.

Indian Springs’ Heather Thormahlen went 2-for-3 with three runs and five RBIs, including an inside-the-park grand slam in the second inning.

Tessa Lounsbury hit a two-run double through the left side to end the game in the bottom of the fifth.

Natasha Cruz doubled and scored three runs for Indian Springs, and Alexxa Reinke went 2-for-3.

Bailee Hosier was 2-for-3 and scored a run for the Panthers.
