ROUNDUP: Feiner, Mustangs roll past Bengals
Tana Feiner went 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs and tossed a seven-hitter Monday to lead Shadow Ridge’s softball team to a 14-4, five-inning win over visiting Bonanza.
Amanda Fehr was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs, and Marisa Miano went 3-for-4 for the Mustangs. Justin Garganese went 2-for-2 with a triple and a double, and Brianna Manning was 1-for-3 with a two-run double for Shadow Ridge.
Cheyenne 15, Eldorado 3 — At Eldorado, Brittany Leeds was 4-for-4 as the Desert Shields defeated the Sundevils in five innings.
Jahnae Davis added a double for Cheyenne.
Brook Ortiz had a double for Eldorado.
Western 26, Desert Pines 7 — At Western, Alexis Clark was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and the Warriors used a 10-run first inning and a 12-run fourth to rout the Jaguars in five innings.
Sabrina Paulk was 3-for-3 with four RBIs, and Brenda Sandoval went 2-for-2 with an RBI.
Sandoval combined with Zimra Trantham to toss a one-hitter.
