ROUNDUP: Murray’s homers power Legacy past Chaparral

Kayla Murray was 4-for-4 with two home runs and a double Monday to lead Legacy’s softball team to an 18-4 win at Chaparral. 
Darcey Cochran earned the win and struck out six.
Sierra Pico was 2-for-2 for Legacy, and Jessie Wilhelm added a triple.
Shadow Ridge 17, Green Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Rae-Ann Bohm’s grand slam highlighted a 15-run sixth inning as the Mustangs broke open a game that was scoreless after three innings.
Bohm went 2-for-2 with three walks and four RBIs. Courtney Winnett also drove in two runs for Shadow Ridge.
Mandy Harmon tossed a one-hitter, allowing only Carly Aughney’s second-inning single and one walk. Harmon struck out nine.
Cimarron-Memorial 21, Bishop Gorman 3— At Cimarron-Memorial, Andrea Bishop was 2-for-4 with five RBIs, and Paige Savage was 3-for-4 with four RBIs as the Spartans rallied from an early 3-0 deficit to beat the Gaels.
Starlyn Thomas was 4-for-5 with two RBIs, and Samantha Valdez was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
Cheyenne 7, Spring Valley 6 — At Spring Valley, the Desert Shields took advantage of two errors, a walk and a fielder’s choice to score twice in the top of the seventh inning and edge the Grizzlies.
Rachel Holley went 2-for-5 with a run and two stolen bases for Cheyenne.
Jessica Martinez was 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs and an RBI for Spring Mountain, and Katie Campo went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI.
Durango 8, Coronado 0 — At Durango, Jaexie Balilea and Lindsay Williams each hit a home run to lead the Trailblazers over the Cougars.
Nicole Herrera earned the win and was 2-for-4 at the plate.
Nicole Shultz was 3-for-3 with a walk, and Balilea was 2-for-2 with two walks for Durango.
Devyn Choltko was 2-for-3 with two doubles for Coronado.
Silverado 16, Desert Oasis 0— At Silverado, Aly Kosinski was 3-for-4 with one run and four RBIs to lead the Skyhawks past the Diamondbacks.
Amanda Delgado was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI.
Silverado pitcher Katie Devlin tossed a one-hitter with three strikeouts and one walk.
Laughlin 18-20, Sandy Valley 5-1— At Sandy Valley, Jordan Wright and Jen Wood each earned a win as the Cougars took a doubleheader from the Sidewinders.
Wood had six strikeouts and no earned runs in the first game. Wright had seven strikeouts and one earned run in the second game.
Catcher Brittany Chase was 4-for-4 with three doubles in the first game for Laughlin.
Kendall Andersland, Sierra Smith and Chase each went 3-for-4 in the second game for the Cougars.
