ROUNDUP: Patras’ rally lifts Patriots past Rams

Diana Cassaro’s double with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning drove in Megan Patras with the winning run Thursday as Liberty’s softball team edged visiting Rancho, 6-5.

Patras, who finished 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI, doubled with two outs to start the rally, and Cassaro drove in the run after an 0-2 count. Cassaro finished 3-for-4 with a run and two RBIs.

Aly Lamboo went 3-for-4 with a triple and a double for Rancho.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Boulder City 2 — At Cimarron, Carrie Sheehan tossed a four-hitter with six strikeouts to lift the Spartans past the Eagles.

Hannah Williams went 2-for-3 with a go-ahead two-out triple in the second inning to help Cimarron.

Teammate Kayla Johnson smacked a two-run single in the first.

Karlee Koopman went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to lead Boulder City.

Desert Oasis 3, Legacy 2 — At Legacy, Natasha Chapman went 4-for-4 and drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the sixth inning as the Diamondbacks slipped past the Longhorns.

Emily Heinz went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Desert Oasis.

Sierra Pico was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs for Legacy.

Arbor View 5, Bonanza 3 — At Arbor View, Karli Lehr went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and two RBIs to lead the Aggies past the Bengals.

Letty Valenzuela went 2-for-3 to help Arbor View, and teammate Ashlyn Ames was 2-for-4.

Emily Osborn hit 2-for-4 with a double for Bonanza.

Green Valley 7, Las Vegas 5 — At Green Valley, Chelsea Anderson had a two-run triple in the fourth inning to help the Gators beat the Wildcats.

Marissa Iwanylo was 2-for-4 to help Green Valley, which held off a three-run rally by Las Vegas in the seventh inning. Brandie Beverly finished 2-for-3 for the Gators.

Mariel Hundley went 3-for-4 to lead the Wildcats.

Silverado 9, Chaparral 4 — At Silverado, Taylee Heckman went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs, and the Skyhawks scored in every inning except the sixth on their way to a win over the Cowboys.

Kenna Turner went 2-for-4 with a double, a run and an RBI, and Gabby Petronzi was 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI for Silverado.

Kendy Reynoso hit a two-run home run for Chaparral.

Basic 15, Valley 5 — At Basic, Marissa Ross had a home run, a double and four RBIs, and Leah Causey hit a two-run homer to help lead the Wolves past the Vikings.

Tiana Tapuala added three hits and two RBIs, and Wendy Williams supplied two hits and two RBIs for Basic.

Zoe Galindo had two doubles and two runs scored for Valley. 

Foothill 5, Eldorado 1 — At Foothill, Alex Petrolia tossed a one-hitter and struck out nine as the Falcons downed the Sundevils.

Aricia Dami went 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored for the Falcons, who gave Petrolia the lead with a three-run first inning.

Chelsia Stewart was 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI for Foothill.

Tech 13, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Tech, Amanda Roark struck out 12 batters while tossing a three-hitter to lift the Roadrunners past the Miners.

Jordyn Roark went 3-for-4 with a triple to lead Tech’s offense, which took over with six runs in the second inning. Mikaela Tribett also hit 3-for-4 for the Roadrunners.

Virgin Valley 12, Del Sol 10 — At Del Sol, Alora Bonner went 3-for-5 to lead the Bulldogs past the Dragons.

Maddie Barnard, Gabby Paongo and winning pitcher Halle Wakefield each added two hits for Virgin Valley.

Brittany Belin was 2-for-5 with a solo home run for Del Sol, which got two hits apiece from Desiree Orozco, Shaena Martin and Larissa Archibeque.

Moapa Valley 22, Desert Pines 6 — At Overton, the Pirates exploded for 11 runs in the second inning and cruised past the Jaguars in five innings.

Rachael Dalley went 3-for-4, and Hannah Leavitt hit a home run in the game for the Pirates, who allowed only one hit.

Calvary Chapel 9, Mountain View 4 — At Mountain View, winning pitcher Jamie Schmidt tossed a nine-hiiter and stroked a double as the Lions downed the Saints in the Spring Slam.

Needles 26-15, Lake Mead 3-0 — At Needles, Calif., Dakota Lillard pitched a five-inning one-hitter in the second game to highlight a sweep for the Mustangs.
