SOFTBALL: Becker helps Falcons rally for win at Basic

Kylie Becker went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs on Friday to help Foothill’s softball team rally for a 10-6 win at Basic.

Caitlyn Stevenson doubled twice, and Alexis Farias was 3-for-4 with a double for the Falcons, who trailed 4-0 after three innings.

Adriana Cruz had a two-run homer for Basic, and teammate Sanoe Helenini went 3-for-4.

Coronado 12, Green Valley 2 — At Green Valley, Tatum Spangler tossed a four-hitter and went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBIs as the Cougars downed the Gators in six innings.

Sarah Pinkston went 4-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI, and Ashley Ward was 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs for Coronado.

Samantha Loving was 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Tyre Hilton went 1-for-3 with an RBI for Green Valley.

Eldorado 14, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Kristie Thomas tossed a five-inning one-hitter and struck out nine to lead the Sundevils by the Pioneers.

Daylon Brooks went 2-for-2 with three RBIs for Eldorado, which scored 10 runs in the third inning.

Silverado 17, Valley 0 — At Valley, Allison Harper tossed a five-inning three-hitter as the Skyhawks routed the Vikings.

Alessandra Ponce went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, and teammate Meleah Rivera went 2-for-5 with a triple and an RBI for Silverado.

Arbor View 21, Bonanza 3 — At Bonanza, Alyssa Trujillo went 2-for-2 with a double, two runs and three RBIs as the Aggies used an 11-run first inning to rout the Bengals in five innings.

Breanne Henricksen tossed a four-hitter with four strikeouts, and Alexis Presser was 3-for-3 with an RBI for Arbor View.

Ashlee McKenna went 3-for-3 with a double for Bonanza.

Sunrise Mountain 5, Pahrump Valley 4 — At Pahrump, Andrea Garner threw a six-hitter and struck out 10 as the Miners held off the Trojans.

Amy Locklear had two hits for Sunrise Mountain, which took a 5-2 lead into the bottom of the sixth inning.

Krista Toomer and Amaya Mendoza combined on a five-hitter for Pahrump.

Western 12, Virgin Valley 1 — At Western, Makalita Moeaki tossed a five-inning four-hitter and went 3-for-4 with two RBIs as the Warriors routed the Bulldogs.

Ashley Rodriguez was 2-for-2 with a triple, three runs and an RBI, and Jennessa Dunton and Mireya Villela each went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Western. Alexis Moeaki was 2-for-4 with a run for the Warriors.

Spring Valley 14, Tech 2 — At Spring Valley, Marlena Adras, Michaela Hood and Mariah Ward all homered to lead the Grizzlies to a five-inning win over the Roadrunners.

Teagan Teal went 2-for-3 with a double for Spring Valley.

Mojave 27, Del Sol 9 — At Del Sol, Emilee Mitton had a two-run home run and a double to help the Rattlers rout the Dragons in five innings.

Natalie Paredes had two doubles and four RBIs, and Jessica Ortiz was 2-for-6 with four runs for Mojave, which led 19-3 after two innings.

Chaparral 25, Clark 5 — At Clark, the Cowboys plated 25 runs on 13 hits in a five-inning rout of the Chargers.

Pahranagat Valley 18-19, Tonopah 5-7 — At Tonopah, Kaitlyn Davis went 3-for-5 with a double and five RBIs in the opener and was the winning pitcher in both games as the Panthers swept the Muckers in a pair of five-inning games.

Madison Harris added two doubles for Pahranagat Valley, which scored 13 runs in the first inning in the opener.

In the second game, Madison Harris went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs, and Morgan Harris had a double and three RBIs for the Panthers.

Alyssa Newell had a double and a triple for Tonopah in the nightcap.

Lincoln County 22-20, Calvary Chapel 6-0 — At Panaca, Kia Phillips went 4-for-4 with a triple, two doubles and two RBIs in the nightcap as the Lynx swept two five-inning games from the Lions.

Josie Burgess threw a one-hitter and had two doubles and two RBIs, and Chesnee Harding was 2-for-3 in the second game for Lincoln County.

In the opener, Hannah Lytle tossed a two-hitter, and Harding had a triple and two RBIs for Lincoln County, which also got a double and two RBIs from Burgess.

Laughlin 25-19, Agassi Prep 13-9 — At Laughlin, Carissa Wollerton went 3-for-6 with a three-run home run and five RBIs in the opener and had a triple, two doubles and three RBIs in the nightcap as the Cougars swept the Stars.

In the opener, Brittany Schelper was 4-for-6 with a triple, a double and three RBIs, and Emilee Shilts was 3-for-6 with a double and two RBIs for Laughlin.

In the finale, Schelper had a three-run home run and a double, and Lori Morgan doubled twice and had two RBIs for Laughlin. Winning pitcher Caitlyn Schelper allowed four hits and struck out six in four innings.
