BOYS TENNIS: Diamondbacks slip past Bengals

Bryce Tacker, Ben Gajardo and Aaron Tan each finished 3-0 in singles Wednesday to help Desert Oasis’ boys tennis team to a 10-8 home win over Bonanza.

Bonanza’s doubles teams of Andy Stephenson and Jacob Mabey, and James Paluzzi and Justin Michala each went 3-0.

Legacy 10, Cimarron-Memorial 9 — At Legacy, Quentin Ewing and Sam Moody went 3-0 in doubles, and the Longhorns won four of the six tiebreaker games to edge the Spartans.

Hernan Gaston was 2-1 in singles for Legacy.

Brady Osborne went 3-0 in singles for Cimarron.

Moapa Valley 11, Chaparral 7 — At Chaparral, Andy Beckstrand was 3-0 in singles to help the Pirates top the Cowboys.

Matt Ellison was 2-1 in singles, and the doubles team of Tyler Crone and Brandon Scott was 2-1 for Chaparral.

Clark 12, Faith Lutheran 6 — At Darling Tennis Center, Miko Pasimio was 2-0 in singles to help the Chargers top the Crusaders.

Marcus Pasimio and Chaitanya Ingle were 2-0 in doubles for Clark.

Mario Stadtlander went 3-0 in singles for Faith Lutheran.

Bishop Gorman 15, Centennial 3 — At Gorman, Dylan Leavitt, Skylar Davidson and Sam Sholeff each went 3-0 in singles as the Gaels routed the Bulldogs.

Jalen Paulos and Joe Connors were 3-0 in doubles for Gorman.

Virgin Valley 14, Boulder City 4 — At Boulder City, Nathan Hughes went 2-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs cruise past the Eagles.

Tech 14, Desert Pines 4 — At Tech, Christian Valle was 3-0 in singles as the Roadrunners downed the Jaguars.

Durango 10, Del Sol 8 — At Durango, Jonathon Nhan was 3-0 in singles to help the Trailblazers edge the Dragons.

Adelson School 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Lions won by forfeit.

The Meadows 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, the Mustangs won by forfeit.
