Roundup: Bengals edge visiting Spring Valley

Jonathan Lai and Marshall Nelson went 3-0 in doubles to lead the the Bonanza boys tennis team to a 10-8 home victory over Spring Valley on Tuesday.

James Mead and Manny Gegan teamed to go 2-0 in doubles for the Bengals. Mark Thuet was 2-1 in singles for Bonanza.

Vangeli Zimmerman was 3-0 in singles to lead Spring Valley. Gerardo Mendoza and Ilan Gonzalez teamed to go 2-1 in doubles for the Grizzlies.

Foothill 14, Rancho 4 — At Foothill, Ben Crawford and Joel Benavidez each went 3-0 in doubles play as the Falcons knocked off the Rams.

Bishop Gorman 16, Sierra Vista 2 — At Sierra Vista, Cole Davidson and Blake Weismann went 3-0 in doubles as the Gaels defeated the Mountain Lions.

Billy McDonald and Max Wolfson each went 2-0 in singles for Gorman.

The doubles teams of Matt Lamb and Michael Connors, and Grant Rogers and Austin Chong each went 2-0 for the Gaels.

Palo Verde 13, Desert Oasis 5 — At Palo Verde, Sam Soderborg and Jayden Atkin went 3-0 in doubles to lift the Panthers over the Diamondbacks.

Jack Kostrinsky was 3-0 in singles for the Panthers.

Clark 12, Arbor View 6 — At Clark, Ameya Singh was 2-0 in singles to lead the Chargers past the Aggies.

John David went 2-0 in singles to pace Arbor View.

Tech 15, Valley 3 — At Tech, Gabe Kermode and Daniel Sardina-Perez went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Roadrunners to victory over the Vikings.

Centennial 14, Durango 4 — At Durango, Justin Madsen was 3-0 in singles as the Bulldogs defeated the Trailblazers.

Ethan Winspear and Nik Dobar went 3-0 in doubles for Centennial. Kelby Sosa and Dawson Stratton went 2-1 in doubles for the Bulldogs.

Faith Lutheran 15, Cimarron-Memorial 3 — At Cimarron, Jonah Grepke went 3-0 in singles play as the Crusaders stormed past the Spartans.

Sam Hertig was 2-0 in singles for Faith Lutheran.

Boulder City 16, Silverado 2 — At Silverado, Connor Mikkelson went 3-0 in singles to lead the Eagles over the Skyhawks.

Tanner Montgomery and Karson Bailey went 3-0 in doubles for Boulder City.

Liberty 17, Eldorado 1 — At Liberty, Noah Capil and Caleb Hull went 3-0 in doubles as the Patriots cruised past the Sundevils.

Shadow Ridge 12, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, the Mustangs beat the Longhorns by forfeit.

Desert Pines 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Desert Pines, the Jaguars defeated the Desert Shields by forfeit.

The Meadows 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Mustangs beat the Miners by forfeit.

Mojave vs. Western — At Western, the match between the Rattlers and Warriors was a double forfeit.
