Roundup: Caleb Lewis, William Ballin lift Rancho over Valley
The doubles team of Caleb Lewis and William Ballin went 3-0 to lead Rancho’s boys tennis team to a 14-4 win at Valley on Friday afternoon.
Antonio Ayala and Jose Agudo each finished 2-1 in singles for the Rams.
Valley’s Nicholas Jianu finished 2-1 in singles.
Centennial 12, Spring Valley 6 — At Centennial, three doubles teams went 2-0 to lift the Bulldogs over the Grizzlies.
Centennial’s doubles teams of Nik Dobar and Ethan Winspear, Kelby Sosa and Dawson Stratton, and Stevie Felts and Tim Tuong each went 2-0, and Justin Madsen went 2-0 in singles.
Vangeli Zimmerman went 2-0 in singles for the Grizzlies.
Sierra Vista 16, Legacy 2 — At Sierra Vista, Tyler Sunstrum went 3-0, and Andrew True was 2-0 in singles to lead the Mountain Lions past the Longhorns.
Alex Chavira also finished 2-1 in singles for the Mountain Lions.
