TENNIS: Aggies’ boys edge visiting Diamondbacks
The doubles teams of Travis Norland and Dustin Leavitt, and Lucas Cordova and John David both went 3-0 Wednesday to help Arbor View’s boys tennis team to a 10-8 win over visiting Desert Oasis.
Ben Gajardo and Bryce Tacker each went 3-0 in singles for the Diamondbacks.
Moapa Valley 11, Virgin Valley 7 — At Mesquite, Andy Beckstrand was 3-0 in singles to lead the Pirates past the Bulldogs.
The doubles teams of Hayden Dimick and Koby Frei, and Kirby May and Riley Longman each went 3-0 for Moapa Valley.
Virgin Valley’s Tyler Hughes was 2-1 in singles.
Foothill 12, Eldorado 6 — At Eldorado, Kirk Peralta was 3-0 in singles, and the Falcons swept the doubles sets to defeat the Sundevils.
The doubles teams of Teodor Drabicki and Austin Wilson, Lukas Werle and Tristin Hansel, and Jack Fredericksen and Jameson Morris each went 3-0 for Foothill.
Coronado 13, Green Valley 5 — At Coronado, Ryland McDermott and Sam Grant each went 3-0 in singles to power the Cougars past the Gators.
Mackay Boman and Brandon Farber finished 2-1 in doubles for Green Valley.
Basic 14, Rancho 4 — Logan Green was 3-0 in singles to lead the Wolves by the Rams.
Nick Stellavato and Garrison Stinnett were 2-0 in doubles for Basic.
Bonanza 15, Cimarron-Memorial 3 — At Bonanza, Cyrus Nelson was 2-0 in singles as the Bengals routed the Spartans.
Weston Clark and Justin Balconi went 2-0 in doubles, and Andy Stephenson was 2-1 in singles for Bonanza.
Adrianne Lopez and Erick Forbush finished 2-1 in doubles for Cimarron.
Tech 15, Sunrise Mountain 3 — At Tech, Daniel Nordin was 3-0 in singles, and Zac West and Aram Gulasarrian finished 2-0 in doubles to propel the Roadrunners to victory over the Miners.
Del Sol 16, Desert Pines 2 — At Del Sol, La’akea Cabanas was 3-0 in singles as the Dragons routed the Jaguars.
The doubles teams of Jonathon Hart and Alex Walker, and Christian Wallace and Matt Styck each went 3-0 for Del Sol.
Zack Trujillo and Andres Limon were 2-0 in doubles, and Giovanni Lacala and Charlie Akeson each went 2-0 in singles for the Dragons.
Bishop Gorman 17, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, the Gaels downed the Longhorns.
Palo Verde 18, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers swept the Mustangs.

Green Valley 11, Coronado 7 — At Coronado, the doubles teams of Olivia Nhaisi and Megan Madrid, and Elle Johnsong and Racquel Holder went 3-0 as the Gators won the Southeast League title by topping the Cougars.
Samantha Smith was 2-0 in singles for Coronado.

Kimberly Fernandez and Avery Swain were 2-1 in doubles, and Melissa Guerrero and Cheyenne Delicate each went 2-1 in singles for Eldorado.
