TENNIS: Boman, John lead Green Valley boys over Basic

Mackay Boman and John John each went 3-0 in singles Thursday to help Green Valley’s boys tennis team to a 10-8 win at Basic.

Trever Berg and Logan Green went 3-0 in doubles for the Wolves.

Desert Pines 12, Cimarron-Memorial 5 — At Desert Pines, Artemio Gonzalez, Danny Keosavang and Oscar Murillo each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Jaguars by the Spartans.

Boulder City 13, Chaparral 5 — At Boulder City, Andre Pappas, Jacob Harrison and Gavin Morris each finished 3-0 in singles to propel the Eagles to a win over the Cowboys.

Tyler Crone and Brandon Scott went 3-0 in doubles for Chaparral.

Coronado 14, Foothill 4 — At Coronado, Ryland McDermott was 2-0 in singles to lead the Cougars past the Falcons.

Joshua Egbert and Martin Ricov went 2-0 in doubles for Coronado.

Eldorado 15, Rancho 3 — At Eldorado, Trevor Swain, Jacob Sedillo and Tyler Schlei each went 3-0 in singles to help the Sundevils defeat the Rams.

Andy Gamboa and Jacob Egan went 2-1 in doubles for Rancho.

Bishop Gorman 18, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Gorman, Sam Sholeff was 2-0 in singles as the Gaels blanked the Mustangs.

Palo Verde 17, Durango 1 — At Durango, the Panthers rolled past the Trailblazers.

GIRLS

Rancho 11, Eldorado 7 — At Eldorado, the doubles teams of Alisha White and Katrina Hutchinson, and Destiny Trujeque and Maiyah Norton each went 3-0 to lead the Rams past the Sundevils.

Melissa Guerrero and Cheyenne Delicate each went 3-0 in singles for Eldorado.

Green Valley 12, Basic 6 — At Basic, Megan Madrid and Olivia Nhaisi went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Gators past the Wolves.

Desert Pines 13, Cimarron-Memorial 5 — At Desert Pines, Ashley Palacios was 3-0 in singles as the Jaguars topped the Spartans.

Cecilia Garcia-Leon was 2-0 in singles, and Christine Berja and Paige DeGuzman went 2-0 in doubles for Desert Pines.

Coronado 14, Foothill 4 — At Coronado, Samantha Ross was 2-0 in singles to help the Cougars defeat the Falcons.

Camille Solla and Mina McCormick were 2-0 in doubles for Coronado.

Boulder City 15, Chaparral 3 — At Boulder City, Melissa O’Berto, Arianne Hess and Natalia Fullmer each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Eagles to victory over the Cowboys.

The doubles teams of Iris Meijer and Sariah Gneiting, and McKenna Frazier and Kyra Yamamoto each went 3-0 for Boulder City.

Bishop Gorman 17, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Gorman, the Gaels topped the Mustangs.

Palo Verde 18, Durango 0 — At Durango, the Panthers swept the Trailblazers.

Postponed matches — The Tech at Virgin Valley and Moapa Valley at Sunrise Mountain boys and girls matches were postponed because of the ongoing repair to Interstate 15. The matches have not yet been rescheduled.
