TENNIS: Doubles team helps Liberty boys nip Valley
Kevin Bloomquist and Sarem Khilji went 3-0 in doubles Monday to help Liberty’s boys tennis team nip host Valley, 10-8.
Valley’s Marty Heavey was 2-1 in singles, and Alex Gustilo and Jeremiah Williams went 2-1 in doubles for the Vikings.
Legacy 10, Shadow Ridge 8 — At Shadow Ridge, Davian and Isaac Campolla teamed to go 2-0 in doubles to lead the Longhorns over the Mustangs.
Guillermo Valdez-Grijalva was 2-1 in singles for Legacy.
Manuel Fuessl went 3-0 in singles for Shadow Ridge.
Bonanza 12, Cimarron-Memorial 6 — At Cimarron, Weston Clark was 3-0 in singles as the Bengals downed the Spartans.
The doubles teams of Marshall Nelson and Scott Sylvester, and Mark Thuet and Justin Rodgers each went 2-1 for Bonanza.
Cimarron’s Noah Loeffler and Adrianne Lopez were 3-0 in doubles, and Trevor Huntly was 2-1 in singles for the Spartans.
Desert Oasis 14, Arbor View 4 — At Arbor View, the Diamondbacks swept the singles sets en route to the win over the Aggies.
Ben Gajardo, Alejandro Romero and Caiden Jacob each went 3-0 in singles for Desert Oasis.
Arbor View’s Treven Clizbe and Brenden Wagner were 2-0 in doubles.
Foothill 14, Basic 4 — At Foothill, Tristin Hansel was 3-0 in singles as the Falcons defeated the Wolves.
Billy Crawford went 2-0 in singles, and the doubles teams of Teodor Drabicki and Lukas Werle, and Jack Fredericksen and Jameson Morris both went 2-0 for Foothill.
Thomas Romero and Brennan Earl were 2-1 in doubles for Basic.
Coronado 16, Eldorado 2 — At Coronado, Martin Rizov and Logan Chen each went 2-0 in singles as the Cougars topped the Sundevils.

Foothill 13, Basic 5 — At Foothill, Morgan Hawkins went 3-0 in singles to lead the Falcons by the Wolves.
Emily Campbell was 2-0 in singles, and Hannah Bunker and Laini George went 2-0 in doubles for Foothill.
