GIRLS TENNIS: Desert Pines routs Adelson School
Veronica Palacios, Cassandra Bueno and Midori Harper each went 3-0 to lift the Desert Pines girls tennis team to a 15-2 victory over the Adelson School on Thursday.
Clark 15, Centennial 3 — At Centennial the Chargers defeated the Bulldogs.
Coronado 16, Bonanza 2 — At Bonanza, Megan King went 2-0 in singles play to lead the Cougars past the Bengals.
Megan Balmer and Mana Iritani also went 2-0 in doubles play for the Cougars.
Eldorado 10, Virgin Valley 6 — At Mesquite, the Sundevils edged the Bulldogs.
Emily Leavitt went 3-0 in singles for Virgin Valley.
Faith Lutheran 13, Foothill 5 — At Foothill, Paige Erlanger and Kennedy Barr each went 2-0 in singles to lift the Crusaders past the Falcons.
Jade Lee went 1-0 in singles, while Faith Lutheran’s doubles teams of Laurent Haight and Courtney Martin, and Cira Faso and Terrah Miura each went 1-0.
Victoria Bickel, Emily Campbell and Kristel Peralta went 1-1 in singles for Foothill.
