ROUNDUP: Eldorado beats Desert Pines in girls tennis
Maria Guanlao and Alyssa Gabrillo went 3-0 in doubles Tuesday to lead host Eldorado’s girls tennis team to an 11-7 win over Desert Pines.
Raquel Kinney and Margeaux Martinez teamed to go 2-1, and Jackie Hernandez and Tanesha Turner each went 2-1 in singles play for Eldorado.
Elvia Castro went 3-0 in singles play for Desert Pines.
Canyon Springs 12, Chaparral 6 — At Chaparral, Rebecca Breland went 3-0 in singles to lead the Pioneers to a 12-6 road win over the Cowboys.
Las Vegas 11, Moapa Valley 7 — At Moapa Valley, Val Shively and Danica Engstrom both went 3-0 in singles to lead the Wildcats over the Pirates.
Natalie Rust and Marianna Crippa went 3-0 in doubles for Moapa Valley.
Rancho 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Rams won by forfeit.
Palo Verde 17, Mojave 1 — At Palo Verde, Brittney Khuu, Johanna Cardoza and Kara Grandison each went 2-0 in singles as the Panthers routed the Rattlers.
Tanya Didio and Tori Monkarsch were 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.
The Meadows 18, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Taler Brazell and Katya Kulikova each went 3-0 in singles as the Mustangs swept the Longhorns.
The Meadows’ doubles teams of Shilpa Dalilat and Erika Mauban, and Jasmine Sharma and Bahazani Janga each went 2-0.
Centennial 15, Arbor View 3 — At Arbor View, Hannah Barnum and Emily Mauer each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bulldogs past the Aggies.
Centennial’s Daryn Frischknecht and Danielle Gordon were 3-0 in doubles.
Shadow Ridge 10, Faith Lutheran 8 — At Shadow Ridge, Catherine Cabo and Debra Hogue went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Mustangs past the Crusaders.
Cimarron-Memorial 15, Cheyenne 3 — At Cheyenne, Solena Mednicoff and Stephanie Kaplan teamed to go 3-0 in doubles, and Starlyn Thomas went 2-0 in singles play to lead the Spartans over the Desert Shields.
Coronado 17, Del Sol 1 — At Coronado, Ilyssa Popowcer went 3-0 in singles to pace the Cougars to an easy win over the Dragons.
Jordan Luna was 2-0 and Brooke White 1-0 in singles for the Cougars.
Natalie Schibrowsky and Marian Gapultos were 2-0 in doubles for the Cougars, and Laura Chupinsky and Stephanie Viel were 1-0 in doubles.
Liberty 13, Silverado 5 — At Liberty, Sina Gebrai and Erika De Los Santos went 3-0 in doubles to help the Patriots down the Skyhawks.
