Roundup: Sierra Vista edges host Shadow Ridge on tiebreaker
Ariana and Andrada Stanciu each finished 3-0 in singles, and Sierra Vista’s girls tennis team won the tiebreaker 5-1 to claim a 10-9 road win over Shadow Ridge on Friday.
Shadow Ridge’s doubles teams of Alexia Cassman and Rachel Gadeski, and Vanessa Almanzor and Jillian Foster each finished 3-0.
Desert Oasis 10, Bonanza 9 — At Desert Oasis, Karina and Natalia Damien each finished 2-1 in singles to lead the Diamondbacks to a victory over the Bengals.
The doubles team of Hailee Valandingham and Adriana Benjamin also finished 2-1 for Desert Oasis.
Bonanza’s doubles team of Carla LaRosa and Kelsey Spence finished 3-0, and Madi Cherry and Aubrey Adams each finished 2-1 in singles.
Arbor View 10, Durango 9 — At Arbor View, the Aggies defeated the Trailblazers, 29-26 on tiebreaker points.
Maggie and Maddie Concannon went 3-0 in doubles, and Averiana Mitchell was 3-0 in singles for Durango.
Bishop Gorman 11, Clark 7 — At Bishop Gorman, Olivia Maalouf and Karissa Matthews finished 3-0 in doubles as they led the Gaels to a victory over the Chargers.
Clark’s Audrey Boch-Collins finished 3-0 in singles.
Centennial 12, Legacy 6 — At Centennial, Macie Stratton went 2-0 in singles as the Bulldogs took down the Longhorns.
Ally Stolworthy went 2-0 in singles for Legacy.
Boulder City 14, Moapa Valley 4 — At Boulder City, Olivia Goodfellow, Tegan Pappas and Olivia Mikkelson each finished 3-0 in singles as the Eagles rolled past the Pirates.
The doubles teams of Katelyn Fox and Heather Patterson, and Natalie Bowman and Olivia Leavitt each finished 2-1 for Boulder City.
