TENNIS: Zimmerman, Clark lead Spring Valley boys past Faith Lutheran

Christian Zimmerman and Eric Clark each went 3-0 in singles Monday to lead Spring Valley’s boys tennis team to a 12-6 win over Faith Lutheran at Darling Tennis Center.

Adam Lychuk and Dando Fitamo were 3-0 in doubles for the Grizzlies.

Trey Sommers and Justin Lindsay went 2-0 in doubles for the Crusaders.

Mojave 10, Western 8 — At Mojave, Michael Beasley and Brian Gross went 2-1 in doubles to help the Rattlers nip the Warriors.

Western’s Ainsley Osawa went 3-0 in singles, and teammates Preston Jennings and William Riggs went 2-0 in doubles.

Del Sol 11, Eldorado 7 — At Eldorado, the doubles teams of Jonathon Hart and Alex Walker, and Christian Wallace and Matt Styck each went 3-0 to lead the Dragons by the Sundevils.

Trevor Swain and Jacob Sedillo each went 3-0 in singles for Eldorado.

Virgin Valley 12, Tech 6 — At Mesquite, Ryan Rushton and Jace Haviland went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Bulldogs past the Roadrunners.

Christian Valle went 3-0 in singles for Tech.

Centennial 13, Bonanza 5 — At Bonanza, Raul Saucedo and Connor Paul each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Bulldogs over the Bengals.

Thomas Felt and Andrew Boggess went 2-0 in doubles for the Bulldogs.

Andy Stephenson went 2-1 in singles for the Bengals.

Liberty 13, Las Vegas 5 — At Liberty, Dylan Ihmels went 3-0 in singles to lead the Patriots past the Wildcats.

Clark 14, Sierra Vista 4 — At Sierra Vista, Michael Pasimio was 3-0 in singles to lead the Chargers by the Mountain Lions.

Kayvaan Adrangi was 2-0 in singles for Sierra Vista.

The Meadows 12, Cheyenne 0 — At The Meadows, the Mustangs won by forfeit.

Valley 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, the Vikings won by forfeit.

GIRLS

Tech 11, Virgin Valley 7 — At Mesquite, Jasmine Thawesee and Yazaret Arredondo each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Roadrunners past the Bulldogs.

Faith Lutheran 15, Spring Valley 3 — At Darling Tennis Center, Paige Erlanger was 3-0 in singles to help the Crusaders top the Grizzlies.

Talia Graf and Kristina Berg went 3-0 in doubles, and Jayden Mattson and Michelle Reiss were 2-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.

Guadalupe Gomez-Navarro was 2-1 in singles for Spring Valley.

Valley 13, Canyon Springs 5 — At Canyon Springs, the Vikings swept the nine doubles sets en route to a win over the Pioneers.

Valley’s doubles teams of Megan Jones and Olivia Jensen, Annelisa Laizure and Carolina Pena-Navarro, and Melissa Rangel and Karina Solorzano all went 3-0.

Brooke Arita-Zamora went 2-1 in singles for the Vikings.

Celia Plyman went 3-0 in singles, and Abigail Emperado went 2-1 in singles for Canyon Springs.

Eldorado 13, Del Sol 5 — At Eldorado, Melissa Guerrero and Cheyenne Delicate each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Sundevils past the Dragons.

Avery Swain and Kimberly Fernandez went 3-0 in doubles for the Sundevils.

Bonanza 14, Centennial 4 — At Bonanza, Lauren Smith and Emma Nelson each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bengals past the Bulldogs.

Lake Luther and Ashlee McKenna went 3-0 in doubles for the Bengals.

Clark 14, Sierra Vista 4 — At Sierra Vista, Elissa Gray and Connie Shen went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Chargers by the Mountain Lions.

Averiana Mitchell was 3-0 in singles for Sierra Vista.

Liberty 17, Las Vegas 1 — At Liberty, the doubles team of Chessa Chrestensen and Jennifer Story went 3-0 as the Patriots routed the Wildcats.

The Meadows 17, Cheyenne 1 — At The Meadows, the Mustangs routed the Desert Shields.

Mojave 12, Western 0 — At Mojave, the Rattlers won by forfeit.
