Bryant helps Virgin Valley girls win Grant Bushman Invitational

Taylor Bryant won the pole vault, placed second in two individual events and ran a leg of a winning relay to lead Virgin Valley’s girls track team to victory at the Grant Bushman Invitational on Friday in Overton.

Bryant cleared 8 feet, 6 inches to win the pole vault, and was second in the 100-meter hurdles and high jump. She also teamed with Kaydee Bingham, Emma Dodenbier and Abbie Barnum to win the 400 relay.

Bingham also won the 200 (27.95 seconds) and was second in the 100. Dodenbier won the 400 (1 minute, 5.17 seconds) and Barnum won the 300 hurdles (48.43) and was third in the 100 and the 100 hurdles.

Virgin Valley finished with 154 points, 26 ahead of second-place Boulder City.
