TRACK: Bradley, Green Valley girls sprint to top spot in Sunrise Frosh-Soph Championships

Green Valley’s Miranda Bradley won two individual events and ran on two winning relays to lead the Gators to first place at the Sunrise Frosh-Soph Championships at Green Valley.

Bradley won the 100-meter hurdles in 17.26 seconds, and took the 300 hurdles in 48.12. She also ran on the winning 400 and 1,600 relay teams.

Green Valley finished with 155¼ points to easily top Coronado (116¾) and Foothill (110¼).

Jayda Knemeyer also won two events for the Gators, placing first in the 1,600 (5:54.55) and 3,200 (13:22.27).

Rancho’s Aryn Maxwell won three events, taking the 200 (27.2), 400 (59.32) and 800 (2:31.07).

In the boys meet, Tyshon Raybon won the high jump (5 feet, 10 inches) and triple jump (39-3) to lead Las Vegas to victory with 133 points.

Green Valley was second with 128½, and Coronado third at 124.

Coronado’s Colin Schaefer pulled off the distance triple, winning the 800 (2:05.83), 1,600 (4:36.89) and 3,200 (10:26.29).

Green Valley’s Ian Mack won the 100 (11.25) and 200 (22.76), and teammate Brady Williams took the shot put (43-3½) and discus (120-9).
