Top players: OH/OPP Deonte Perkins (Jr.), MB Daniel Gonzalez (Jr.)

Outlook: A move to Division I-A almost certainly will help the Desert Shields, who return four lettermen.

"We are confident that this will be a productive year," Armstrong said. "By the middle of the year, we expect to have everything in order.

"Though most of our players are juniors, many of them already have had experience at the varsity level."
