12-team tournament on tap at Lake Mead
Lake Mead’s volleyball team has conquered every challenge so far this season.
The next test for the Eagles comes this weekend at home.
The Eagles, 9-0 overall, host 11 other schools in the Lake Mead Volleyball Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
The Meadows and Indian Springs join Lake Mead in pool play Friday. The other pools are: Sandy Valley, Virgin Valley and Lund; Calvary Chapel, Henderson International and Agassi Prep; and Mountain View, Laughlin and Trinity.
Teams will play two matches on Friday. The top two teams in each of the four pools advance to an eight-team, single-elimination championship bracket on Saturday. The four third-place pool teams will form a single-elimination silver bracket.
The championship match is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m.
