GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Naomi Harris, Durango top Sierra Vista in five sets
Naomi Harris had 23 kills and eight digs Monday as Durango’s girls volleyball team outlasted host Sierra Vista, 21-25, 25-22, 25-27, 25-19, 19-17.
Hailey Kraft added 22 kills and 24 digs, and Makenzi Abelman had 56 assists, five kills and three aces for the Trailblazers.
Faith Gray-Williams led Sierra Vista with 50 assists and 22 digs. Aria Holmes had 13 kills, and Mackenzie Bowlen notched 10 kills for the Mountain Lions.
Faith Lutheran 3, Centennial 2 — At Centennial, Tayah Washington had 18 kills and seven digs, and Sydney Washington added 15 kills and three blocks as the Crusaders topped the Bulldogs, 17-25, 25-19, 25-21, 24-26, 15-3.
Elizabeth Tuls had nine kills and eight blocks, and Mary Vancura dished out 43 assists for Faith Lutheran, which also got three aces and 20 digs from Logan Van Reken.
Danyale Berry led Centennial with 11 kills. Kaysha Clark had 13 digs, and Gabrielle Talavera contributed seven kills and eight digs for the Bulldogs.
Las Vegas 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Skyla Faught had 12 kills, and Renice Sueno added nine kills and two aces to lead the Wildcats to a 25-21, 25-6, 25-20 win over the Sundevils.
Victoria Barney had 37 assists and three aces, and Anna Dobbins had 22 digs for Las Vegas.
Kiana Parkes led Eldorado with three kills and 16 digs. Hailey Stark had two kills and four blocks, and teammate Jonna White had two kills and three blocks for the Sundevils.
Liberty 3, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Maggie Heim had 20 kills, 11 digs, four aces and two blocks to lead the Patriots to a 25-27, 25-22, 25-21, 21-25, 16-14 victory over the Diamondbacks.
Tehani Tapuala had 45 assists and three aces, and teammate Erika Martinez had five aces and 28 digs for Liberty, which got 23 digs from Elizabeth Branigan.
Kaia Rhodes led Desert Oasis with 12 kills. Emily Ragsdale added 11 kills and three aces, Kira Beckerle had eight kills and 13 digs and Kaaleya Price had nine kills, eight digs and three aces for the Diamondbacks.
Laityn Sarna had 45 assists, and Casedy Field finished with 27 digs for Desert Oasis.
Rancho 3, Valley 0 — At Valley, Mia Suzuki had three aces and nine kills to lead the Rams past the Vikings, 25-9, 25-10, 25-13.
Rancho’s Karime Raygoza had two aces and 10 kills, Taylor Ewing had five aces, Sam Pochop had eight kills, and Leiana Nacapuy had three aces and 20 assists.
Tania Patricio had three kills to lead Valley, and teammate Jessica Perez had six digs.
Palo Verde 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Palo Verde, Jaquelyn Fields had four kills and three blocks, and Mia Sadler had 10 assists to help the Panthers beat the Spartans, 25-13, 25-15, 25-7.
Aaliah Largusa had five kills, and teammate Makayla Truman had 11 digs for Palo Verde.
Logan DeLong led Cimarron with nine assists, six digs and three kills. Alyssa Karpinski added four kills, and Alexandra Payan had 13 digs for the Spartans.
Pahrump Valley 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Alexis Trieb had 11 kills and seven aces as the Trojans swept the Miners, 25-8, 25-14, 25-6.
Bethany Calvert added nine kills, and teammate Jackie Stobbe had nine assists for Pahrump.
Natalie Jaramillo led Sunrise Mountain with four kills.
Shadow Ridge 3, Legacy 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Whittnee Nihipali had 12 kills, six digs and four blocks to lead the Mustangs to a 25-11, 25-10, 25-11 sweep of the Longhorns.
Kizzy Rodriguez added six kills and 12 digs, and Braedyn Peters had 12 digs for Shadow Ridge.
Kiana Carter led Legacy with six kills and three digs. Juliette Kirk had 14 assists and two digs, and teammate Alyssa Fuller had 10 digs for the Longhorns.
Mojave 3, Western 0 — At Mojave, Sua Estrada had 35 assists and eight digs to lead the Rattlers past the Warriors, 25-17, 25-13. 25-8.
Samantha Rebolledo had 16 digs, and Jainna Avilez had six digs for Mojave.
Nikki Riggs had seven aces to lead Western. Elaina Tillmond had five kills, and Jannessa Dunton had three kills for the Warriors.
Cheyenne 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Aseret Geraldo had five aces and three kills to lead the Desert Shields to a 25-11, 25-9, 25-10 sweep of the Jaguars.
Kamalani Forcum had four aces and five assists, and Jasmine Jaeger had four aces and four assists for the Desert Shields.
Moapa Valley 3, Pahranagat Valley 1 — At Alamo, Eden Whitmore had 21 kills to help the Pirates top the Panthers, 25-14, 32-34, 25-15, 26-24.
Dannika Gordon added six kills, and Aria Messer had 16 assists for Moapa Valley.
Madison Harris led Pahranagat Valley with 11 kills, 11 digs and three aces. Alyson Egbert added seven kills, and teammate Morgan Harris had 30 digs for the Panthers.
