ROUNDUP: Calvary Chapel volleyball wins twice in Lake Mead tourney

Jamie Bearden had 13 assists and five aces in the first of two matches Friday as Calvary Chapel went 2-0 in pool play of the Lake Mead Tournament.

The Lions beat Henderson International, 25-7, 25-10 in the first match, and downed Agassi Prep, 25-18, 25-10 in the second match.

Other leaders for Calvary Chapel in the match against Henderson International were: Lauren Feigler, five kills; Brettani Davis, 10 digs; Anna Duerden three kills; and Bri Ridley, six aces.

Against Agassi Prep, Feigler had six kills. Bearden added 10 assists. Ridley served five aces.

Laughlin 2, Mountain View 1 — At the Lake Mead Tournament, Laughlin rallied foa 23-25, 25-22, 15-13 win in pool play.

Faith Lutheran 3, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Meagan Hauser had 11 kills and eight digs to help the Crusaders down Pahrump Valley, 26-24, 26-24, 25-17.

Katy Trollier added nine kills and 11 digs for Faith Lutheran. Jessica Rodriguez dished out 27 assists.
