ROUNDUP: Skyhawks rally to top Wildcats

Morgan Little had 33 assists and three aces, and Kayla Agae had 20 digs and nine kills Monday to help Silverado’s girls volleyball team rally for an 8-25, 27-25, 17-25, 25-22, 15-8 win at Las Vegas.

Amari Norris had eight kills and six blocks, and Melanie Srok had 14 digs for Silverado, which got eight blocks from Lauren Purdy.

Marissa Lair had 26 kills and 22 digs, and Matti Ventling added 41 assists to lead Las Vegas. Charlai Francis had six blocks and five kills, and Anjelica Ashworth added 21 digs for the Wildcats.

Pahrump Valley 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Pahrump, Payton Hart had nine kills, and Bryanna Soliwoda distributed 22 assists to help the Trojans to a 24-26, 26-24, 25-21, 25-19 win over the Desert Shields.

Makayla Davis had seven blocks, and Shayla Dance added six blocks for Pahrump, which got four aces from Alyssa Murphy.

Jenna Mecham had eight kills and two aces, and Jasmine Spurlock added six assists and two aces for Cheyenne.

Faith Lutheran 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Gianni Perryman had 16 assists as the Crusaders swept the Chargers, 25-10, 25-11, 25-17.

Cayla Nikodemus had seven kills and eight digs, and Gianni Giulani had five kills for Faith Lutheran.

Schae Mores paced Clark with two kills and 15 digs.

Green Valley 3, Valley 0 — At Valley, Alley Seidler had 11 assists, and Mikayla Michalsky had three kills and three digs to lead the Gators over the Vikings, 25-5, 25-7, 25-17.

Makenna Johnson added two digs and two aces for Green Valley, which clinched the Northeast League title.

Diva Carter had three kills, and Taylor Sandhu had five assists to lead Valley.

Palo Verde 3, Sierra Vista 0 —
At Palo Verde, Stephanie Herman had 25 assists and seven digs, and McCall Phillips added seven kills and 10 digs as the Panthers clinched the Northwest League title with a 25-18, 25-8, 25-12 win over the Mountain Lions.

Kendall Cheval added eight kills, three blocks and two aces, and Lexi Riggs had eight kills and five digs for Palo Verde.

Arbor View 3, Durango 0 — At Arbor View, Kayla Papuga had 18 digs, 10 kills and 10 aces to help the Aggies defeat the Trailblazers, 25-13, 25-19, 25-21.

Tara Wiese had 27 assists, and Sam Bales had eight kills for Arbor View.

Carly Taylor had 15 assists, and Hailee Wilson had 10 digs for Durango, which got seven kills from Precious Williams.

Shadow Ridge 3, Spring Valley 0 —
At Shadow Ridge, Ashley Smith had six kills and six aces, and Jasmine Burton had 14 digs and eight aces to lead the Mustangs over the Grizzlies, 25-7, 25-13, 25-6.

Niehely Sosa had 10 kills for Shadow Ridge.

Jessica Rafay had five digs and four kills, and Nicole Rafay added five digs and two kills for Spring Valley.

Rancho 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Rancho, Jordan Williams had four kills and three blocks, and Sydnee Stankosky had five kills and four aces to lead the Rams over the Pioneers, 25-9, 25-20, 25-15.

Carla Cano had four aces and two digs for Rancho. 

Summer Asturi had 12 digs and five aces, and Melane Miller had four kills and three blocks for Canyon Springs. Natasha Montano had seven assists, and Sydney Morris had four kills for the Pioneers.

Western 3, Mojave 0 —
 At Mojave, Aleya Ford-Wheaton had five kills and two aces, and Teneya Williams added four kills to lead the Warriors past the Rattlers, 25-7, 25-11, 25-20.

Zimra Grantham had three aces, two kills and two assists for Western.

Rebecca Espinoza had 12 digs, and Pamela Martin had four aces and seven digs for Mojave, which got seven digs from Ashley Persico.

Beatty 3, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, Melynda Gross had nine kills as the Hornets downed the Lions, 25-16, 25-13, 25-11.

Shankara Venezio added seven kills for Beatty.
