Roundup: Sydney Washington powers Faith Lutheran by Legacy
Sydney Washington had 13 kills and four blocks Thursday as Faith Lutheran’s girls volleyball team downed host Legacy, 25-20, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21.
Bailey Friel had seven kills and three blocks, and Isabelle Guerrero had seven kills for the Crusaders.
Alexi Johnson had 23 digs, Mary Vancura dished out 21 assists, and Kyrie Lorfing added19 assists and two aces for Faith Lutheran.
Myah Maxwell had 17 kills and 11 digs to lead the Longhorns.
Jazmyne Walker had 16 kills and 19 digs, Kiana Carter had 10 kills and 15 digs, Kiara Peterson had eight kills, and Kazmaile Mendonsa had 47 assists and 12 digs for Legacy.
Arbor View 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Sarah Goddard had six kills and six aces to lead the Aggies to a 25-9, 25-15, 25-17 sweep of the Grizzlies.

Durango 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Durango, Jaylin Ellis had 11 kills to lead the Trailblazers to a sweep of the Spartans, 25-15, 25-13, 25-15.
Anuhea Faitau added 20 assists and five aces for the Trailblazers.
Elise Young had eight kills and four digs to lead the Spartans, and teammate Natasha Obradovic had two kills, four aces and eight digs.
Coronado 3, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Ashlynn Ammerman had seven kills, two digs and two blocks to lead the Cougars over the Rams, 25-12, 25-8, 25-19.
Shannon Evans had seven kills, and Cassandra Smits-Van Oyen added 21 assists and three digs for the Cougars.
Kekai States dished out 16 assists to lead the Rams, and teammate Mia Suzuki had 12 digs.
Moapa Valley 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Aria Messer had 31 assists as the Pirates defeated the Roadrunners, 25-12, 25-12, 25-16.
Eden Whitmore put down 13 kills, and Shelbi Walker added nine aces and six kills for Moapa Valley. Dannika Gordon supplied seven kills for the Pirates.
Makenna Faught led Tech with 10 assists and five digs. Kayla Cook and Kaitlyn Harvey each supplied nine digs for the Roadrunners.

Kamry Bailey had six kills and six aces, and Ava Wright had eight assists and six aces for the Eagles.
Bonanza 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Sydney Dunn had 21 assists and two aces to lead the Bengals over the Chargers.
