VanPoucke, Muckers sweep Pahrump
Deanna VanPoucke had nine kills and three blocks Saturday to lead Tonopah’s volleyball team to a 25-19, 25-15, 25-18 win at Pahrump Valley.
Elise Salsbury dished out 16 assists, and Alli Friel had 10 assists, seven kills, two blocks and two digs for the Muckers, who got six kills and eight blocks from Sarah Greber.
Payton Hart had 10 kills, and Makayla Davis contributed 10 blocks for the Trojans. Bryanna Soliwoda distributed 14 assists for Pahrump.
