VOLLEYBALL: Panthers open season with sweep of Wells
Kennedy Huntsman dished out 15 assists and served six aces Thursday as Pahranagat Valley opened the girls volleyball season with a 25-9, 25-9, 25-16 sweep of visiting Wells.
Bailee Hosier added six kills and five aces, and Traci Strong had six kills for the Panthers.
Liberty Baptist 3, Word of Life 0 — At Calvary Community Center, Valarie Martin served eight aces and had four assists to lead Liberty Baptist past Word of Life, 25-9, 25-13, 25-15.
Alison Murdock had four kills for Liberty Baptist.
