Outlook: Gonzalez, who likely will wrestle at 126 pounds, and Rondon-Lopez (220) both qualified for the Class 3A state meet last year.

“Desert Pines’ young, inexperienced crew will be following the lead of Xavier Gonzalez and Sebastian Rondon-Lopez as their only returning state participants,” McNulty said.
