Aniciete, Waters take All-American honors at freestyle nationals
Two local wrestlers earned All-American status Friday in the ASICS/Vaughan Junior and Cadet Freestyle National Championships at Fargo, N.D.
Las Vegas High 135-pounder Alex Aniciete took third place, and Spring Valley’s Ray Waters was seventh at 160.
Aniciete, who will be a sophomore next year, won a state title as a freshman. Waters, who will be a junior, took second at state at 145.
