Dillon Viera pinned his opponent in 43 seconds at 145 pounds on Thursday, helping Boulder City’s wrestling team to a 45-21 victory over Clark at Chaparral.
Jimmy Brown (113 pounds), Thomas Prach (160) and Nelson Van Diest (182) also won by pin for the Eagles.
Nathaniel Tate (126) and Michael Hervis (195) each recorded a pin for the Chargers.
Boulder City 69, Western 9 — At Chaparral, the Eagles won six matches by pin and rolled past the Warriors.
Brown (113), Robert Minter (126), Tyler Rushworth (132), Patrick Garvin (138), Viera (145) and Prach (160) all posted pins for Boulder City.
Andrew Solis earned a pin at 182 for Western.
Clark 48, Chaparral 21 — At Chaparral, the Chargers recorded four consecutive wins by pin en route to a win over the Cowboys.
Robert A’Hearn (160), Brenden Gutierrez (170), Alexander Floyd (182) and Hervis (195) each won by fall for Clark. Teammate Jacob Chaparian (285) also won by pin.
Chaparral 57, Western 18 — At Chaparral, Luis Hernandez (120) won by pin in 20 seconds as the Cowboys defeated the Warriors.
Hector Perez (132), Andrew Freeman-Thompson (138), Sheldon Phoenix (145) and Meldrick Nava (160) also notched pins for Chaparral.
