Columnist outed en route to CityCenter
I was outed Thursday. But not by any MGM Mirage officials seeking to throttle me for Thursday’s down to earth concern about problems at the CityCenter.
However, the minute I got into the tram at Bellagio to revisit Crystals and then see Aria, a local reader spotted me. When I scooted over so the man could sit next to his wife on the tram, he smiled and said, “I hope you’re having a better time today.”
His wife leaned over and asked if I’d read that column in the R-J that morning. Her husband informed her, “She wrote it.”
Oddly, his wife didn’t believe him at first.
Maybe it is time to update my column mug.
