Vegas Drive, Decatur Boulevard intersection closed this weekend
The intersection of Vegas Drive and Decatur Boulevard will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday as construction continues on a drainage project.
Traffic will be able to access all businesses up to the Vegas Drive and Decatur Boulevard intersection.
Detours will be in place to direct Vegas Drive commuters to either Washington Avenue or West Lake Mead Boulevard. Detours also will be in place to direct Decatur Boulevard drivers to either Jones Boulevard or Rancho Drive.
Electronic sign boards will be placed along Vegas Drive and Decatur Boulevard to warn the drivers in advance of the closure.
Motorists can continue to expect traffic delays in the area while the work is being done.
