LETTER: Million-dollar mortgage guarantee

In the Wednesday Review-Journal editorial, “Biden wants taxpayers to back million-dollar mortgages,” you mention the 2008 housing collapse, but fail to mention what entities caused the collapse and what entities decided to bail out the banks while leaving the homeowner homeless and on the street. You might consider the benefit of actually backing homebuyers for a change.
