Local Connie Mack team loses second regional tourney game
Wilkinson (Wash.) rallied for six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Thursday to beat the Southern Nevada Bulls of Arbor View High 6-3 in the Connie Mack Western Regional baseball tournament in Bellevue, Wash.
The Bulls led 3-0 entering the sixth before the Wilkinson rally. Southern Nevada dropped to 0-2 in the tournament and was eliminated from contention for the title.
Sam Pastrone was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs and also struck out seven in 5 2/3 innings for the Bulls, who play Mudville (Wash.) at 6 p.m. today in a consolation game.
