HIGHLIGHTS

Bucks 80, Cavaliers 66 -- Larry Sanders and Deron Washington scored 17 points each to help Milwaukee (1-4) avoid going winless. Sean Williams added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Bucks while Cleveland (3-2) was led by Jerome Dyson with 18 points.

Spurs 78, Grizzlies 64 -- Despite being outshot from the floor (44 percent to 42 percent) and outrebounded (30-25), San Antonio managed to lead from start to finish and earn a share of the summer league title at 5-0. Memphis (3-2) was led by DeMarre Carroll's 14 points.

Trail Blazers 83, Bulls 69 -- The Blazers, who led by as many as 16 points and had four players finish in double figures led by Luke Babbitt's 22 points, finished 4-1. Chicago, which was led by Morris Almond's 22 points, finished 1-4.

Hawks 89, Timberwolves 83 -- Jeff Teague and Jordan Crawford scored 15 points each as Atlanta finished its first season in Las Vegas with a winning record (3-2). Minnesota (1-4) was led by Lazar Hayward with 19 points.

Mavericks 85, Kings 54 -- Dallas (2-3) built a 16-point first-quarter lead and never looked back as the Kings struggled in their finale to go 3-2. Sacramento shot just 25 from the floor and went just 1 of 9 on 3-point tries. Dominique Jones had 17 points and Rodrigue Beaubois scored 15 to lead the Mavericks.

D-League 79, Clippers 78 -- Mark Tyndale hit a 40-foot heave at the buzzer as the Selects avoided going winless and overcame a 20-point second-quarter deficit. Tyndale, who seconds earlier was called for an offensive foul before redeeming himself with his winning 3-point shot, finished with 19 points for the D-Leaguers (1-4). The Clippers (1-4) were led by Al-Farouq Aminu with 21 points.

STARS

n San Antonio's Gary Neal scored his team's first 13 points and had six 3-point field goals in scoring 25 points to lead the Spurs over Memphis.

n Portland's Luke Babbitt scored 22 points and was a perfect 8 of 8 from the foul line to lead the Blazers over Chicago.

n The D-League Select's Mark Tyndale scored 19 points and hit a 40-foot, game-winning shot against the Clippers.

RAPTORS, SPURS SHARE TITLE

The Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs were the only teams to go undefeated and shared the title with 5-0 records.

"I'm sure Pops (Spurs head coach Greg Popovich) will say, 'What the hell are you doing? We're not supposed to win the Summer League,'" Spurs Summer League coach Mike Budenholzer said. "We told them at the start of the week that winning and losing wasn't important. But I think they felt it was important and it's a tribute to them and how hard they worked."

The Raptors, who have been coming to Las Vegas the past three years, went 1-4 in 2008 and 3-2 in 2009. The Spurs had their best showing in four years of participating. Their previous best was last year's 3-2 record.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, the Lakers and Hornets went winless at 0-5.

WOLF PACK'S GOOD WEEK

UNR's Summer League contingent made a good showing in Las Vegas, led by Washington's JaVale McGee, who averaged 19.5 points and 9.3 rebounds.

Luke Babbitt averaged 14.2 points for Portland and Armon Johnson averaged 11.6 points for the Blazers and led the team in steals with 11.

"It was an up-and-down week but I learned a lot," Babbitt said. "I'm looking forward to training camp."

Johnson said: "I really took pride in trying to get better every day. I felt more comfortable by the end of the week and I'm going up to Portland as soon as possible to work on my game and make sure I'm ready when we start camp."

Blazers coach Nate McMillan said both players competed well in Las Vegas.

"Armon has gotten better with each game," McMillan said. "Luke has done some good things, but he has to work on his shot and getting stronger."

Mo Charlo, the fourth member of the Wolf Pack to play here this week, struggled, averaging just 2.5 points for Minnesota.

FINAL STAT LEADERS

Sam Young had a chance to win the scoring title Sunday, but the Memphis Grizzlies guard was held in check by San Antonio and scored just three points. Instead, John Wall of the Wizards, who averaged 23.5 points over four games, was the scoring champ.

Wall also was the Summer League's top assist man, averaging 7.8. New Orleans' Darren Collison was next at 7.0.

Sacramento's DeMarcus Cousins was the top rebounder, averaging 11.8 boards, followed by Toronto's Joey Dorsey, who averaged 9.8 .

ALL-SUMMER LEAGUE TEAM

Washington's Wall was selected the Summer League's Outstanding Player. Joining Wall on the All-Summer League team were Wizards teammate JaVale McGee, DeMarcus Cousins of Sacramento, (also the NBA's Rookie of the Month for July), Memphis' Sam Young, Golden State's Reggie Williams, Toronto's DeMar DeRozan, Cleveland's J.J. Hickson, Denver's Ty Lawson, Dallas' Dominique Jones, the Lakers' Derrick Caracter, Milwaukee's Larry Sanders, San Antonio's Alonzo Gee, Houston's Jermaine Taylor and Gani Lawal of Phoenix.
