5 He’s a Dance Star – Should get more value with Alonso Quinonez replacing Rafael Bejarano; beaten chalk in last.

7 Itssultryinthecape – Figures to be the early speed, good thought with the turf rail out 15 feet; catch him to win.

Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $16,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

4 Ascot’s Highflyer – Strong dirt debut last time when second; she still needs to improve one step to beat these.

7 Merrytagio – Dead-late closer figures to be sitting closer to the early pace; vote of Joel Rosario is key.

Long Shot – 2 Tiz O’Gold

Race 5 – 6 1/2 furlongs, $100,000 Irish O’Brien, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

6 Saanneen – She loves the hillside turf course, a real horse for course setup; tested for class today.

7 Quisisana – Was overmatched in the grade 1 Santa Monica, so draw a line through it; she has good tactical speed.

Long Shot – 9 Ms. G. I. Jane

Race 6 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

6 Haven’s Lake – Third start off a 3-month hiatus could be her best; tactical speed to sit a nice trip.

9 Ann’s Seven – You could handicap this race based upon the trainers; Bill Spawr and Jack Carava can be 1-2.
