2 Personalitary – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this career low class; tactical speed to sit a good trip.

6 Maker – Proven to be a capable threat at this bottom level; no speed, he’ll sit in arrears and make one run.

Long Shot – 7 Polly’s Dancer

Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

8 Peppy Rafaela – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; easy chalk in a moribund field.

1 Missie Ky I You – Looks like the main threat down on the fence; will save ground and grind it out late.

Long Shot – 6 Malibu Love

Race 3 – 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 10 feet), $100,000 Inglewood Handicap, 3-year-olds and up

4 Acclamation – Looks like lone early speed and clearly is the class of this bunch; main question is fitness off the layoff.

2 Utopian – Was flattered when Bourbon Bay won the San Juan Capistrano next out; offers good value at 6/1 odds.

Long Shot – 5 Holladay Road

Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up

5 Lana’s Smile – Floundered over a sloppy oval last out; his race two back over fast dirt was good enough to beat these.

1 Usurp – Third start since claimed by Jack Carava; rail trip and exits a couple fast paced sprints.

Long Shot – 7 Bryan Daniel

Race 5 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $54,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up

5 Empire Way – Most will stay away from a 3-YO facing his elders; draw a line thru the San Felipe and his resume looks good.

2 Gab Power – Dead late closer has a habit of being a stride late at short odds; worth using in showvivor contests.

Long Shot – 6 Renegade Storm

Race 6 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Flashy Dame – Has chased two good ones in Mamma Kimbo and Bobina; Peter Eurton won 8 straight races at Santa Anita.

2 With a Miracle – Did everything but win last time in a nice effort; big rider switch to Joel Rosario for the money shot.

Long Shot – 5 Dime Piece

Race 7 – 6 furlongs, Purse $21,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

11 Warren’s Jazz Walk – Don’t typically like graduates facing winners for the first time; she broke thru with great ease.

5 Woodman’s Lass – Interesting long shot is 5/1 mainly due to jockey Iggy Puglisi; remember the horse is 90 percent of winning.

Long Shot – 7 Silent Sue

Race 8 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $62,000, Allowance, 4-year-olds and up

5 Saratoga Yankee – Ran like a short horse off a 15-month hiatus; big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano signals intent.

6 Omayad – Turf champ in Chile makes his U.S. debut; key question is fitness for this first run in the country.

Long Shot – 3 Tigah

Race 9 – 6 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

2 Hidden Quest – Outran his 12/1 odds in strong debut; races first time Lasix, could be enough to put him over the hump.

3 Iron Joe T – Lost all chance at the start in a miserable ride; Jeff Bonde switches to Rafael Bejarano to improve his chances.

Long Shot – 5 Smart Hombre
