4 Dixie in Pink – Ran better than looked in her last two; Joe Talamo takes over which can actually help her price.

Long Shot – 2 Askra

Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds

4 Gun Boat – Bob Baffert has no shortage of good looking 3-year-olds; this one picks up off a 8-month vacation.

2 Let’s Get Crackin – He looks a little cheaper than some of these; the difference is he’s a blue-collar hard trying horse.

Long Shot – 3 Hodge

Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

7 Mrs. Rosa – Reunited with Rafael Bejarano which can dictate his style today; suspect she’ll show more patience here.

4 Deity – This appears to be the speed of the speed; ever notice how Joel Rosario and Rafael Bejarano never duel one another.

Long Shot – Ex Lover

Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Claiming $25,000, 4-year-olds and up

2 Meadow Road – Logical chalk with two strong races off the claim by Dan Hendricks; suspect has more room to improve.

1 Storming Kentucky – His 5-of-8 first and second is a solid resume; from the live Steve Miyadi barn, that man Bejarano again.

Long Shot – 5 Afleet Cowboy

Race 5 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $32,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

8 Van Brit – She has a solid 8-of-17 wins on turf; even better is she has won 7-of-12 sod starts at Santa Anita.

1 Halfapondarosa – Nice win off the claim by Doug O’Neill; tries turf again which has been a stumbling block in the past.

Long Shot – 2 Lilly’s Perfect

Race 6 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 4-year-olds and up

7 Turn On the Pumps – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; need not be much to graduate.

2 Sidepocket Kid – His 5-of-11 in the money looks good with these; will inherit the lead one of these nights.

Long Shot – 4 Confer

Race 7 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $60,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 4-year-olds and up

4 Fire With Fire – Solid second in SoCal debut for Neil Drysdale; was well regarded back east, room to improve.

2 Tippety Tap Tap – Exits the same race as Fire With Fire; rough trip, chance to outrun his high 10/1 morning line odds.

Long Shot – 8 Tamarack Smarty

Race 8 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $31,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

5 Soi Phet – The key to victory is his race two back for a $40K price tag; that was sandwiched between two turf sprints.

4 I Feel Free – Exits a no excuse turf race facing tougher; should like the return to dirt and the cut back in distance.

Long Shot – 6 Warren’s Rail Bird

Race 9 – 1 3/8th miles (turf), $150,000 San Juan Capistrano Handicap, 4-year-olds and up

2 Bourbon Bay – Won a miracle race last out when he was trapped in mid-stretch but re-rallied in time; he loves Arcadia turf.

3 Hog’s Hollow – Exits the San Luis Rey along with Bourbon Bay; has speed to lead or stalk the pace of Harrods Creek.

Long Shot – 6 Harrods Creek

Race 10 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, 3-year-olds

9 Midnight Con – Has had two tough trips in a row; with a clean trip he should be difficult to handle in here.

2 Mr. Padre – Did a pop and stop in last with a 10-pound bugboy; big rider switch to Joe Talamo for the money shot.
