Race 1 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, 4-year-olds and up
2 Rock Off – Has run fast enough a few times to beat this bunch; Joel Rosario will sit a trip and fire fast late.
3 Dynamize – Gets the ultimate equipment change, a first time gelding; suspect will show major improvement tonight.
Long Shot – 4 World Renowned
Race 2 – 7 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
2 Mango Tart – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; takes the weight off with Eswan Flores.
3 Warren’s Assassin – Like the turn back in distance from a mile; figures to sit midpack and try and grind late.
Long Shot – 5 Kvell
Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), Purse $35,000, Claiming $32,000, 4-year-olds
8 Mandated Bliss – Solid class drop and switch to Rafael Bejarano; he’s only winning at 17 percent, expect that to improve.
6 Evening Island – Joel Rosario had choices and opted to ride for his main man John Sadler; subtle class drop will help.
Long Shot – 3 Avulsion
Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs, $150,000 Santa Ynez, Fillies, 3-year-olds
3 Rowdy Gal – Is 2-for-2 and moving in the right direction; John Sadler filly has a high ceiling for sure.
2 Reneesgotzip – Figures to be way overbet off a big MSW win; was flattered when Eden’s Moon airballed for Bob Baffert.
Long Shot – 4 Painted Woman
Race 5 – 1 mile (turf), Purse $26,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
8 Glorified – Did everything but win last time as a beaten favorite; is capable of better and she’ll need to be.
9 Carousel – Interesting price horse on a class drop for Doug O’Neill; has no early speed but should rally late.
Long Shot – 7 Platinum Mine
Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 4-year-olds and up
5 Merlin Z – Adam Kitchingman taking the blinkers off; key is to try and slow him down so he can finish at the end.
7 Absolutcat – Razor sharp maiden claiming win, first time for a price tag; he found his friends and he fits well today.
Long Shot – 2 Wild Gray
Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), Purse $58,000, Allowance, 4-year-olds and up
7 Oak Kye Why – Looks like lone early speed in a wide open affair; Kayla Stra is very underrated, she can ride.
2 High Test – How about a 9/2 favorite, even race or bad field?; last race was a clunker, but the two before that were good.
Long Shot – 3 Howmuchisit
Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles, $75,000 Paseana Handicap, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
6 Vision in Gold – Been away since March, but she showed she was a good one; stepping stone prep, but she may be this good.
