Post Time 1 p.m.

Race 1 – 1 mile, Purse $35,000, Maiden claiming $75,000, 2-year-olds

2 Life On Riviera – Peter Miller has an uncoupled entry so caveat emptor; the other to keep an eye on is St. Joe Bay.

3 Mr. Chase – Key angle for Mark Casse charge is he’s a first time gelding; also taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW.

Long Shot – 1 Follow Me Crev

Race 2 – 1 1/16th miles Purse $23,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds

2 Papa’s Paisley – Sharp win in last, first off the claim by Jack Carava; good trainer doesn’t have much stock to work with anymore.

4 Red N Black Attack – He ran a strong second at this level two races ago at Los Alamitos; Leandro Moro keeps churning out winners.

Long Shot – 1 The Mad Hungarian

Race 3 – 1 mile, Purse $25,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 Fly to Freedom – Class drop may be enough to get mare over the hump; good resume at Santa Anita and on dirt.

5 Up the Alley – Took six starts to break her maiden; sometimes when they figure it out, they can do it again.

Long Shot – 1 Cravin’ the Heat

Race 4 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

2 Nicegirlsfnishlast – Questionable DQ in last after a strong effort; note that Peter Eurton does not penalize or replace the jockey.

4 Nighttiming – Shown good improvement since shipping to SoCal; third different SoCal rider, Rafael Bejarano up for the money shot.

Long Shot – 1 Star Act

Race 5 – 1 mile, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-brds, 2-year-olds

8 Flexible – Regressed last time after a good second place debut; goes 2-turns for the first time, softer pace should help.

5 P Club – Tepid chalk returns to dirt after synthetic and turf tries; it is a class drop to face restricted Cal-breds.

Long Shot – 6 Temple Keys

Race 6 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Claiming $20,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

5 Betty Bing Bing – Exploded with a nice win last time over lesser foes; moves up in class, but is capable of repeating.

8 Nothing to Hide – Claimed by Eddie Truman in last off an even third; key vote comes from hiring Rafael Bejarano to ride.

Long Shot – 2 She’s Flush

Race 7 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

2 Shysheisnot – Ran a better than looked second in last; returns to grass where her one try was down the hillside turf course.

5 Mindfully – Ron Ellis has had seconditis so far this meet; this filly looks like she still has a decent upside.

Long Shot – 4 Jennyway U Want It

Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

11 Bunuska – Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see she is the shortest price favorite on the card; last race, if repeated, wins.

9 Acategoryfivestorm – Woke up last time with a solid victory; didn’t beat much and doesn’t grade out as a very fast race.

Long Shot – 1 Shared Image
