Race 1 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
2 Luxuriance – Ran a cropper in last on natural dirt; returns to turf, her preferred surface.
8 Sassy Suances – Been away a full year; her last start was ultra fast on the front end.
Long Shot – 6 Suances Flower
Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds
1 San Onofre – Set a wicked fast pace in last before tiring late; should be tighter in second career start.
8 Back to Bako – Draw a line thru last when off poorly and never in the race; Blake Heap putting the blinkers back on.
Long Shot – 4 Storm Fighter
Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds
2 Cervaro – Tough trip in last, but showed promise; got off poorly, then ran into traffic late.
3 Buckleberry Grey – Speedy sort ran a much improved effort in last; first start for Ben Cecil, nice improvement.
Long Shot – 4 Wind of Bosphorus
Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles, $100,000 Santa Ysabel, Fillies, 3-year-olds
6 Heir Kitty – Watch the videotape on her last try; got jammed up inside and never had a chance to extend.
3 Scarlet Strike – Has a perfect 7-for-7 races in the money lifetime; she is clearly capable of upsetting the chalk.
Long Shot – 1 Escape Act
Race 5 – 1 mile (turf), $100,000 Valentine Dancer, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
3 Tiz Flirtatious – She has run well in open company; now gets a chance to boss lesser in restricted Cal-bred stakes.
7 Halo Dolly – She won the grade 2 Yellow Ribbon so you know she is legit; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
Long Shot – 4 Chockecherymary
Race 6 – 1 mile, $300,000 California Breeders Champion, Cal-breds, Fillies, 3-year-olds
8 Doinghardtimeagain – Tiny edge in a very difficult heat; shown steady improvement in all four career starts.
6 Unusual Way – Her last three races are much more like it; tactical speed to get involved early, middle and late.
Long Shot – 1 Marks Mine
Race 7 – 1 mile, $300,000 California Breeders Champion, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds
1 Omega Star – Is San Onofre wins race 2, move this one up a notch; powerful finish for a horse with a future.
8 Monument – Draw a line thru a last place finish in the BC and his resume looks pretty good; deserves another chance.
Long Shot – 6 Fighting Hussar
Race 8 – 7 furlongs, $250,000 Santa Monica, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
5 Belle of the Hall – Exits the BC Filly and Mare Sprint; she didn’t run well, but has more punch than shown.
4 Teddy’s Promise – Took matters into her own hand last time with a lights out victory; has won on or off the pace.
Long Shot – 2 Distracting
Race 9 – 1 1/8th miles (turf), $100,000 Crystal Water, Cal-breds, 4-year-olds and up
6 John Scott – Tries turf for the first time, a real question mark; has a ton of back class though.
8 Thirtyfirststreet – Draw a line thru a non-effort last out at Zia Park; he has run some good grass races.
Long Shot – 2 Swift Eagle
Race 10 – 6 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies, 3-year-olds
5 Hidethegoodstuff – Good career debut for the maestro, Jerry Hollendorfer; his barn has been sizzling this meet.
1 Mark of a Gem – Showed good energy in the late stages in last; it was her debut race, so improvement can be expected.
Long Shot – 8 Hail Mary
